What about Photographs ?
You can send a good selection of good, clear photographs. Indicating the main ones to work from, and notes
to help with expression, colouring etc. See tips on taking the
best photos. Photo-shoot sessions can be arranged.
How Long does a portrait take to commission ?
Waiting times can vary depending on work load - an approximate completion date will be given at time of
ordering. Please allow a minimum of four weeks for any deadline. ( Shorter deadlines can be met if necessary
- please telephone to arrange) For Christmas orders - please order as early as possible.
Which size is best for my portrait?
This will depend on the quality of the photos to be used and the size or breed of the pet to be painted. For

Can I order by post?
Yes, the following details are needed with your order :
- Name, Address, Tel Number ( Work / Home )
- Size of Portrait (s)
- Unframed / Framed ( Dark or Light Wood )
- Caption, Title or name of pet(s)
- Completion date ( if any ) - whether to be posted or collected
- Is it a secret not to mention it to anybody if I phone ?
- Where did you find out about my work ?
- For Pet Portraits : Head or full body , Number of pets in group and desired layout.
What happens when the portrait is finished ?
A photo of the finished portrait will be sent via email on completion.
An appointment will be made for collecting the finished portrait.
Orders dispatched by mail will be
sent guaranteed delivery or by courier.
What about Payment ?
A (non-refundable) deposit is required with each portrait ordered. SMALL £60 STANDARD £90 MEDIUM £125
LARGE £175. Balance is due on completion, prior to sending. Payment is via Bank Transfer or card payment
over the phone.
Will I be happy with the results and what happens if I don't like it?
Christine has been painting for over 30 years and will know before taking on a commision whether or not a
photo will make a good painting and by discussing your requirements at time of ordering. If you are not
happy with the painting, minor adjustments can be made and a further photo sent for your approval. If you
are still not happy with the painting, portraits must be returned to the studio before the balance of your
payment will be refunded. Deposits are non-refundable.
